Halloween Expected To Be 70 Degrees! No Jackets Needed Over Costumes

This Halloween will be warm and rain-free, but those with fancy costumes will have to fight against a strong breeze.

Police have encouraged parents to take their kids trick-or-treating during daylight hours. During that time, temperatures should be close to 70 if not warmer and it'll be partly sunny, said AccuWeather meteorologist Tom Kines.

Once night hits, things will get a bit chillier and temperatures will drop into the 60s, Kines said. It will be partly cloudy during the evening.

"For this time of year, that's pretty good," Kines said.

The only thing that could throw a wrench into the system is the wind: The city will have a breeze that could hit 15-25 mph, Kines said, but at least there won't be rain.

"If part of your costume is not fastened securely, then yeah, that could be a problem," Kines said. "In general, yeah, it looks like great weather for Halloween activities."
