Ukrainian MFA plans to launch electronic visa service in spring
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is planning to launch a system called Electronic visa at the end of March, as Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said in a press conference today.
“We also want to consistently move towards simplifying the provision of our services to everyone. Just a few days ago we registered a project on creating the Electronic visa system in the Ministry of Justice. It has been through its first test. Now it will be tested in full over 4-5 weeks, and we hope that somewhere at the end of March it’ll start working. It means that anyone will be able to get an electronic visa in a civilized manner,” Klimkin said.
According to him, Electronic consul programme is also being tested now, and it’s working at nine foreign institutions. The Foreign Minister phrased his hope that it will work in full before summer.
