Congressman Fitzpatrick was honored for deep commitment to U.S.-Ukraine relations

The Board of Directors of the Ukrainian Federation of America is honored to inform that Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick has been unanimously chosen to receive the 2017 Alexander B. Chernyk Medal. The Medal is presented annually to individuals who have distinguished themselves for their courage, vision and leadership on behalf of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. The Federation in the past has recognized the valuable contributions of outstanding leaders in the political, diplomatic, humanitarian and other fields. Congressman Bob Schaffer, Congressman Jim Gerlach, Bishop Borys Gudziak, H.E. Ambassador Oleh Shamshur, and H.E. Ambassador William Miller were the most recent recipients of the award. 

As an exceptional leader and a great friend of Ukraine, Congressman Fitzpatrick was honored for his outstanding leadership and deep commitment to U.S.-Ukraine relations.
