37% of Ukrainians favor Vakarchuk as politician – poll

The poll run by the International Republic Institute (IRI) indicates that 37% of Ukrainians favor singer and ex-lawmaker Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, Radio Svoboda reports Nov. 29.

The number of those not favoring Vakarchuk stands at 38%.

Anatolij Hrytsenko, the head of the Hromadyanska Pozitsia party, is the runner-up, the with 23% approval and 55% disapproval.

Yulia Tymoshenko ranked third, with 20% favoring her and 69% not favoring her.

Pres Poroshenko and Premier Grojsman follow, with equally 15% favoring and 74% of Ukrainians not favoring them.

Arsenij Yatseniuk comes next, with merely 5% favoring him and 85% of respondents not favoring him, the poll says.
