Free Savchenko!

The activists of EvroMaidan continue their hard work in spreading the word about the crimes and injustesses of nowadays. A group of activists showed their support to a Ukrainian pilot Nadia Savchenko who is held in a Russian prison unfairly.

Savchenko was kidnapped in Donbas and since brought to Russian soil where charges were then fabricated against her. She since gone on hunger strike and is prepared to die unless released back to Ukraine. There is no mention of her story anywhere in British media which is why the activists took it to the streets to tell the world Nadia's story.

There was a bit of atention of tourists, press and Members of Parliament who could probably hear the protesters in the cabinets across the road. All in all the aim of raising awareness of strong willed and heroic woman who is prepared to die free rather then live in jail was achieved.
