RUSSIA MAY ATTACK UKRAINE FROM TRANSNISTRIA - POROSHENKO

The threat of a full-scale Russian attack is still here, Pres Poroshenko said, General Staff officers today.

Russia has deployed massive numbers of troops along the border with Ukraine, including 50,000 servicemen, 470 tanks, 1,700 APCs, 220 Grad missile batteries, 390 heavy artillery pieces, 490 combat planes, hundreds of helicopters, 24 Navy vessels, Poroshenko said.

The president warned that Moscow may use its military contingent in TransNistria to attack Ukraine in the west.

In Donbas, there are 40,000 separatist troops and 5,000 Russian army regulars, 700 tanks, 450 artillery systems.
