Russian officers’ business in Donbas

Russian officers serving in Donbas are selling weapons to civilians and criminal groups, Zbroya cites March 29 Ukraine army intelligence report.

Russia’s Southern Command commission filed complaints against 30 officers serving in Donbas for crimes committed by them or with their help, the report runs.

The commission exposed a large number of unaccounted for weapons in the Russian/rebel army, some of them prepared for selling by Russian officers.

For instance, the Russian officers in the 100th infantry brigade (Donetsk) stored small armed, ammunition and large-caliber Utes machine guns which they were going to sell, the commission says.
