2015 Millennium Park Summer Movie Series Lineup Kicks Off Tuesday

"Apollo 13," "The Aviator" and "The Breakfast Club" are among the movies that will be screened at this year's summer film series at Millennium Park, informs UaPost with reference to Dnainfo.

The weekly screenings begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays.

The series is underwritten by the Millennium Park Foundation and co-curated by the department. 

The movies will be free and shown on a 40-foot LED screen at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, 201 E. Randolph St.

• July 7: "Big Night" (1996, rated R)

• July 14: "Edward Scissorhands" (1990)

• July 21: "Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory" (1971)

• July 28: "Almost Famous" (2000, rated R)

• Aug. 4: "Drumline" (2002)

• Aug. 11: "The Aviator" (2004)

• Aug. 18: "Dirty Dancing" (1987)

• Aug. 25: "Mahogany" (1975)

• Sept. 1: "The Breakfast Club (1985, rated R)
