Ukraine positioned almost last one in World Happiness Report

Ukraine ranked 132-th place out of 155 in the ranking of the happiest countries in 2017, down nine places since last year.

This is stated in the report of the World Happiness Report, compiled by the United Nations specialized Agency Network to find solutions to sustainable development (Sustainable Development Solutions Network).

Ukraine was next to Ghana (131) and Uganda (133rd place).

The first top ten of the happiest countries is: Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, Finland, Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Sweden. Russia was in 49th place, up seven positions.

One of the last in Rwanda, Syria, Tanzania, Burundi and the Central African Republic.

To compile the rankings take into account six key factors – GDP per capita, level of social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom to make their own life choices, generosity (made donation) and attitude to corruption.
