Millennium Park Summer Movies: Here's The Full List For 2016
"Purple Rain," "Finding Nemo" and "Silence of the Lambs" will be among the movies screened during this summer's film series at Millennium Park.
The weekly movies kick off at 6:30 p.m. June 21 with "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." All films will be shown at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, 201 E. Randolph St.
The annual summer film series this year will include a double feature July 19: the romantic comedy "Moonstruck," followed by horror classic "Silence of the Lambs."
For the first time, Chicagoans will get to vote on the series' Aug. 30 finale.
All films are free and start at 6:30 p.m. The Millennium Park Summer Film Series is underwritten by the Millennium Park Foundation and co-curated by the city's Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.

June 21: "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" (1986, rated PG-13)
June 28: "Soul Food" (1997, rated R)
July 5: "A League of Their Own" (1992, rated PG)
July 12: "Thelma & Louise" (1991, rated R)
July 19 "Full Moon" Double Feature: "Moonstruck" (1988, rated PG), "Silence of the Lambs" (1991, rated R)
July 26: Kartemquin Films 50th Anniversary Celebration (celebrating the documentary filmmaker)
Aug. 2: "West Side Story" (1961, unrated)
Aug. 9: "Grease" (1978, rated PG-13)
Aug. 16: "Finding Nemo" (2003, rated G)
Aug. 23: "Purple Rain" (1984, rated R)
Aug. 30: audience choice, voting details to be announced later
